Birth Choices Appointment

I'm pregnant and I have a birth choices appointment coming up as my first labour ended with an EMCS after the doctor examined me and assessed a risk of cord prolapse. I'm wondering what questions would be a good idea to ask?

What are you hoping for this time @EdithGrantham? Are you going for an ELCS?

I didn't really get much of a chance to ask anything at mine, the consultant basically went over my past history and the risk factors for each option of birth, and asked me to consider and decide what I wanted by the next appointment. Said that anything was an option and they would go with whatever I wanted. I chose ELCS

Thank you both, I'm hoping some more information will help me decide as I'm really unsure at the minute. Labour leading up to the point of being told I needed the section was pretty easy-going and then the section itself was very calm and recovery with no complications so I don't have any particular negatives that are leading me to say "No way" to either option
