had a ventous, episiotomy and stitches. had a course of antibiotics for possible infection and expected to be better after taking them but no such luck. to say its p*ssing me off now is putting it lightly, i want to get on with my life now. i cant walk comfortably for a long period of time let alone go swimming or have sex again. when will it heal??

doesn't sound right at all - soreness yes but the not being able to walk properly rings alarm bells with me. What did GP say at your 6 week check? I had similar birth and was sore for a long time after but didn't affect walking IIRC.

at the six week check gp said it was healing ok but i was given antibiotics for infection, now finished the course but its not much better. i can walk for a while then it starts to sting. it doesnt look as if the cut has healed up properly and theres a small hole where it looks like the stitches havent joined the skin up together.

Go back to the drs, poor you sounds horrible. If it doesn't improve you may need a referral to someone more experienced to have a look..............

Yes go back to GP or if you prefer family planning clinic - they can have a look and refer on if necessary and might be more sympathetic?
