How many c-sections and how far apart

Just wondering as I'd had all intentions of having a large family but after 2 sections, I'm not sure how many more I can healthily have.

How many sections have you had and how far apart were they

My son is 4.9 and daughter is 14 weeks.

Thanks in advance xx

Hi, i havent had any CS but my friend has had 2 in the last 3 years. She has been told to wait for at least 2 years for anymore babies as the scar tissue will be very weak.

I think you should ger advise from your GP, im sure everyone is different.
Good luck

Blimey, your dd is only 14 weeks and already you are thinking of getting pregnant again! She must be a good sleeper then?

Agree with Harrybee, you need medical advice on this. Each subsequent c-section is sligthly riskier because the scar becomes thinner. Some doctors recommend maximum of 3 children if all are by c-s. Having said that, there is a mumsnetter called Zipper who has had 7!

lol TuttiFrutti, she is a good sleeper but doesn't sleep through the night, the reason why I want another so soon is I think 3 will be our max - I don't want to put my health at risk - so I don't see the point of waiting for x amount of time iyswim xx
