Signs of labour?

This morning I woke up to quite a bit of bleeding, but it was more pink/brown rather than bright red (like when you’re starting your period). It seems like this could be a “bloody show”, which I’d never actually heard of until I researched it today! I’m getting some dull period-type aching in my lower back every so often, but that’s it. Also, not sure if it’s related, but since yesterday I’m absolutely ravenous, and I constantly feel extremely hungry if I haven’t eaten for an hour. Are these all good signs? I’m 39+3 with my first baby, so I don’t know if any of these things are signs of labour or not.

I didn't get much of a bloody show with either of mine. Second time I noticed losing the slightly bloody mucus plug a couple of days before labour. (But somehow missed my waters breaking) But the dull period ache in my back is how my second labour started..... but I had it for at least a week every evening then it had gone by the morning, until one evening I went to bed and it was too painful to sleep and then baby arrived a few hours later.

So could be, but could be a long time too.

Yes. Sounds like it. I had a big calorific meal before mine and bloody show. Started within hours. Good luck!

Thank you! I’ve woken up and nothing else has happened, no pains or waters or anything! I hope something happens too. I was extremely hot overnight, but that’s about all.
