Overdue with second baby

Hello,
Has anyone been more overdue with their second baby than they were with their first?? Feeling quite anxious and impatient now!!

DS (1st child) was born at 38+3

DD (2nd child) was born at 40+4. The last two weeks felt very long. But the labour was a lot better

dd2 wsa born at 40+5 am afraid even when 2nd child their time keeping isn't any better!

First two were both two weeks early, no.3 one week late. They each come out with their own personalities and sense of timing!!

ds1 38+0
ds2 40+8. Much fster labour and he just generally seemed readier for the world than ds1.

Ds1 arrived on his due date so I was expecting/hoping that ds2 was either going to be earlier or on time. In the end he was 8 days late and they were the longest 8 days of my life Labour was quicker though, when it finally started. With my 3rd baby (dd) I was expecting to go over due as well but she arrived a day early, just goes to prove babies arrive when it suits them.

Your LO will probably come when you are least ready for it (contractions for ds2 started while i was having the best nights sleep I'd had for the whole 9 months)Hope things start happening for you soon

Ds was 5 days early, this one was due on the 21st march but Im still waiting! Getting quite bored now to be honest, prob made worse by the amount of texts Im getting from people asking if Ive 'had the baby yet?' grrr dont they think Id have said?

So anyway, heres hoping theres not too much longer to wait now!

Yes, sorry dc1 was 40+10 and dc2 was 40+11 BUT the second birth was ten times easier and spontaneous (1st was induced). The afterpains were worse, but the recovery was loads better.
Good luck. Two are hard work but so much more fun.
Grrrr - the texts drove me MENTAL dillinger! I have a friend who's overdue now and I'm being very careful not to ask...
