Scheduled c section at Raigmore Inverness

Hi all. I have a planned c section with a possible cistectomy/Ovariectomy in Inverness and it's my first, looking for some stories/experiences if you want to share.
I've been there at ward 10/9 many times during my pregnancy and staff was amazing all the time, been hospitalised twice and really, I can't complain at all how I was treated... but really would like to know how a post c section experience is. Hope there will be someone :) thank you

Ok bit of a while ago had 2 c's. Recovery quick but do no heavy lifting for at least 1 month. Can be sore, need to take good painkillers for a few weeks. Babies both in special care for short time as mucus not squeezed out of them during birth. Watch where waistband comes as rubbing on scar can be an issue. Less traumatic but dh needs strong stomach if want to watch.
