Do newborn babies still have ID bands in hospital please?

Yes, our local hospital also offer a security band type thing to stop them being taken off the ward.

Yes two name bands plus a security tag that alarms if baby goes through the doors to the ward at our local hospitals. This is the same hospital trust where Abbie Humphries was abducted from years ago though so obviously they are even more stringent with their security.

Yes, ours had the tiny ankle tags with alarms. Ds1 kept setting his off as he was kicking like crazy. Someone came to check every time.

mine had one on each ankle though one did break before our 4 night stint was up. wasn't an alarm but was a security guard checking it against mums wristband before you were allowed out
