Lister or Watford maternity - elective C-section

I’m due a baby girl in 3 months time. I’ll be having an elective c-section.

I can’t decide between Lister and Watford. Has anyone had an elective c-section at either of these places recently? What was your experience like?

I had an emergency C-section at Watford - it was nearly 3 years ago now. The section itself was fine, but I definitely felt abandoned and left to it on the postnatal ward.

My knowledge is out of date now but I'd check with both whether it's feasible to buy a private post natal room? Years ago you definitely could at Watford and my friend said it was wonderful (having experienced the normal post natal ward before)
