Induction date

Hi, I was just wondering what people’s experiences were of getting an induction date and how likely it is that the date doesn’t change? Just trying to mentally prepare either way. I had an induction with my last pregnancy but that was a case of having already been admitted due to issues and waiting until there were staff available to do the induction.

My induction date was booked for 12 days after my due date when I was 38 weeks. No changes.

Although now that I’m better educated I’d opt for increase monitoring and give it some more time.

I had a planned induction, chose the date and that was the date I had it. As above, I'd give it more time now I know more. Unless it was (actually) medically necessary. Hope your birth goes well :)
