No bleeding at all after birth

I gave birth 4 days ago, and have had 0 vaginal bleeding afterwards. Not even a drop. I had a c-section and my midwife said they may have just done a good clear out, but this seems a little unusual. I had so much bleeding with my first - who was also a section.

Has anybody else experienced this?

I gave birth a week ago via elective c section and I've had approximately 2 or 3 little spots of blood, all on about day 4/5

I told them at the hospital that I wasn't bleeding and told my midwife at my 3 day check and none of them seemed alarmed but also didn't offer any "that's totally normal" reassurance either 😆

I've had an elective c section before and I didn't bleed loads and loads, but definitely did a decent amount, like a period level. It's unnerving me!

@Happymunchkin567 hello! Ahhh you sound just the same as me. If it's any reassurance - I'm bleeding now! It took about 10 days and it suddenly came (when I was moving around a lot more)

Still a lot less than my first though! X

It'll all come out as your womb starts to shrink down back to normal size. Speaking from experience of a c section!
