Epidural headache

I had my baby on Monday which included an epidural. I’m still having a headache with a bit of light sensitivity. Did anyone else experience this? How long did your headache take to clear?

I had one the morning after but more round the base of my neck. Maybe call your midwife for some reassurance

best plan would be to contact the labour ward/post natal ward & tell them you’re worried about a post dural puncture headache and would like to speak to/be reviewed by an anaesthetist. There are lots of things that can cause post-partum headaches and it’s usually fairly easy to unpick whether it’s related to the epidural and advise over the weekend. HTH.

Do all of the above and up your water intake too.
