St Georges or Croydon?

Hi All,

I know there are a few thread, but they are quite old... I need to register for birth of DC2 and I'm stuck choosing between St Georges and Croydon. I gave birth to DC1 in St Georges in '21 and it was fantastic... except the post natal ward. I'm also aware that our midwives kept saying how lucky we got with the room, not having to go through a shift change, one of them being on training, so getting extra attention.

St Georges is also far... CUH is close but I can't shake its reputation. I want to do an elective C-Section in my next birth and I'm also aware that I have low platelets. Additionally, I know St Georges does three scans, whereas I think Mayday only does 2? A family friend found some fatal issues in the third scan, so I know its invaluable... but St Georges rating is "Needs improvement" and CUH is "good".

Any advice?
