Lower back pain? Contractions?

I need help or advice. I’m 39 weeks today and for the past two days I keep having episodes of what feels like milder contractions but in my lower back. They start and then become regular for maybe an hour or so then disappear. Only for them to start again later in the day. Has anyone else experienced this or anything similar? If so what was it?

My first labour started as backache then slowly spread to the front . Keep us updated OP !

Sounds like latent labour to me. I was like this for two days then waters broke and 5hrs later ds was born. Good luck😊

Yes had same, had few times was up for a couple of hours pacing with contractions low back ache which then just went in the weeks leading up to actual labour. Nothing unbearable! Then quite quick once did actually go into labour :)

I'm 33 weeks and have been having these for a couple of days. I hope it's not feckin labour in my case!

I gave birth back in October. I woke up with an achy back at 1 am and by 6 am I had given birth!
For me, the achy back was the start of a very quick labour.

Looks like it may have been nothing. Woke up this morning and it’s none existent but moving had become almost impossible because I’m so BIG. Fingers crossed it won’t be too long 🤦🏽‍♀️

Hopefully not too long for you x Have you got a birthing ball, only thing found comfortable to sit on in the last few weeks!
