C Section at Homerton

I am due to have an elected C section in Homerton, I am high risk (age, IVF and hypertension & gestational diabetes) and I am generally a bit terrified.
They said they have a side room which costs £100 per night without a toilet and £150 per night with a toilet. Has anyone tried them, is it worth it? I suspect it might be worth it. That is for after the c section.
Also, any advice on the C Section procedure?
They said bring some music in, initialy I was thinking I won't be bothered to bring music but they insisted that it makes a nice difference.
Any positive stories would be much appreciated.

I had an elective, it was the best decision. Very calm, positive and safe experience. Recovery was fine too. I also would recommend the side room with toilet. Better for privacy, noise etc. If they have one available its a no brainer. Try not be frightened - c sections have a bad rep but the advice is dated and frankly wrong.
Good luck and enjoy!
