Is Labour on the way?

I am 38 weeks pregnant today and when I got out of bed this morning I had some liquid fall out of me. Not much maybe about a table spoon ammount. I haven’t lost a mucus plug that I know of and I don’t think it was pee!

could this be the start of my waters breaking? I’m not feeling anything else at the moment no contractions or pain. 🤷🏻‍♀️

this is my first baby and I am trying stay nice and calm and not jump to any conclusions! Those of you with more experience do you have any advice??

I know it’s a couple of weeks early, but just for some context I found out yesterday on of my parents had a stroke so I’m quite stressed and I’m wondering if that’s kicked anything off!

I had a similar thing - I remember I spent the day with little bits of liquid coming out and not really knowing if it was pee or my waters!
Do you have any other signs of labour like even very mild cramping etc?
Mine did turn out to be my waters as they eventually fully went by early evening. Wear a pad if you can so you can catch anymore if it comes out, then if you call the hospital/ birth unit or wherever you’re giving birth then they can check the pad for whether it’s your waters or just pee.
