INDUCTION TODAY!

Being induced today at 37+1, due to preeclampsia.. 3rd baby but it's been nearly 9 years since I've done this and I'm absolutely shitting myself 🫣

Tell me it's gonna be okay?!
Really appreciate everyone's support on here over the last couple of weeks, it has made a huge difference ♥️

Everything will be just fine and you're soon be holding your little bundle of joy in your arms. It's great you managed to get to 37 weeks too, that's considered to be full time which is great! I delivered at 35+6 due to preeclampsia and all was still well!

Ooh how exciting. Everything will be fine and you'll have your little one soon!

I was induced with DD2 at 37 weeks and she was born 11 hours later.

You have got this! So pleased you will be holding your gorgeous bundle soon. I was induced with my second and things happened quickly so I'm sure it won't be long for you.

Take the pain relief if you need it! I did find contractions from the induction a bit more intense than spontaneous labour xx

Thank you all so much! Just had my first examination, I am 2-3cm dilated already 🙄 No need for any hormones, they're going straight to breaking my waters!

That's great! Hopefully it won't be too long until a bed becomes available.

Thank you all ♥️ Baby girl was born 1.07am on 8th December. Induction all went really well, had my waters broken and all happened naturally from there.

Thanks all.. Baby girl was born at 1.07am on the 8th December. Had waters broken around 4pm. Contractions started around 11.30pm whilst waiting to be put on the drip. I'd asked for an epidural before the drip but the doctors were called away for an emergency c section. Doctors came in again around 1am to do the epidural, by that point contractions were intense. They got me all prepped and even had the needle in my back, as I announced it's too late she's about to be born 🙄 They helped me onto my back and with one push she was there. It was intense but overall very positive ♥️
