Is it normal to struggle to walk after a c section?

Hello,
So I just found out I'm pregnant with my 3rd baby - first baby was regular delivery & second was by C section. First birth was very long and traumatic, so second time around I had a c section due to anxiety from that (plus I had a mass removed from my fallopian tube at the same time)
Now trying to decide what to do this time around. After my c secrion (2.5 years ago) I struggled to walk for almost a month after, I remember my core feeling so weak I couldn't push a shopping trolley for weeks after. But after my first baby I was walking around within a few hours
Why do I see other people up and walking normally a week post c section, did soemthing go wrong with mine, or did the fallopian tube being removed also contribute to the healing time? If will be anything like last time I don't think I can do it again 😢
Thank you for any advice x

I had a c section and was encouraged to move around in the hospital as soon as I was able to. The midwives walked with me and said it would benefit me in the long run. They were quite strict of sticking to a schedule of trying to do a 5-10 min walk around the street for the first few days. I thought it was silly but loved the fresh air and walking with my dh and baby in the pram. By 4 weeks pp I was more or less back to normal, was driving and could carry the pram into the car etc.

I know everyone heals differently so you need to go at your own pace. I’m due my second soon and I know my recovery will be different this time around.

It could be the mass being removed also put extra tension on you and made the recovery more painful.

That wasn’t my experience personally I was fine walking after a couple of days with no pain it was just sitting down and getting up that hurt for a couple of weeks after but that’s it and I’ve had 2 emcs

I couldn’t walk for a month after my third. I think it was badly done as I had nerve damage and a massive heamatoma. My first I was up and about after three days. I think it’s just how it is carried out.
