If your first baby was overdue when did your second arrive?

My first DC was 41+1 so I assumed I’d be around 40 weeks + this time too.

However I’m currently 36+5 and am much crampier than I was at this gestation last time. Last time I had cramps in the evening for around a week before.

2.5 year (ish) age gap. I think age gap probably makes a difference, my friends who had really small gaps had their second babies weeks earlier than their firsts.

First baby was 2 weeks past due date and I was induced.
Second baby 3.5 years later was born 4 days before due date

DC1 8 days late, normal labour.
DC2 two weeks late, induced, ventouse, honestly thought he would never arrive.
Also 2.5 year gap.

First child was 15 days late. (Induced)
Second child born on due date
Third child was 1 week late
Fourth child was 1 week late
All dc bar no1 I knew exactly when I conceived

Bizarrely all 4yrs 3 month age gap

Both induced at 42 weeks

DC1 10 days late
DC2 10 days early

DC1 4 days late
DC2 15 days late (2 yr gap)
DC3 2 days early (3.5 yr gap)

DS1 42 weeks (spontaneous the morning before I was due to be induced)
DS2 (3.5 years later) 41 weeks

First baby 12 days late..hours of labour...2 hours of pushing...

Second baby 10 days late but very fast labour...6 min delivery!

First baby labour started at 40+3, born at 40+5. Second baby born 41+2, 2.5 hour labour.

Sounds like it could go either way 😂 I’ll just have to wait and see

3.5 year age gap.
DC1 was born at 41+4.
I was expecting a wait for DC2 but baby was born at 40+1!
Both spontaneous labour.

First 41+5 induced

Second 34+5 c section for pre-eclampsia

DS - 40+2
DD - 40 exactly

First was exactly two weeks late (induced) and second was 3 days early (but I was determined not to get induced again so I was climbing around soft play when it started!

DC1 10 days late, DC2 induced 13 days late.

DC1 12 days late
DC2 8 days late
DC3 12 days late
DC 4 13 days late!!

18 months between 1 and 2, 5 years between 2 and 3 and 18 months between 3 and 4 - defo not having anymore but if I did I’d add 2 weeks into my due date when telling people!!!!

Both mine arrived 40 + 4

No. 1 41+3 (2 days after sweep)
No. 2 41+1 (spontaneous)

DD1 2 weeks late, DD2 day before due date but I was doing everything possible to start labour. I was getting induced the next day because it was close to Christmas and 'there wouldn't be enough staff on'

Dd was 14 days overdue. Went into Labour night before I was set to be induced.
Ds was 14 days overdue and was induced.

1st 40+5 (although labour technically started at 40+2 :/)
2nd 40+3

1st 41+1 (given pessary on 41 weeks and baby arrived next day)
2nd 41 weeks (spontaneous labour)
they are 25 months apart.
