Conjunctivitis and being induced tomorrow!

This is awful timing but as of this morning I have conjunctivitis/pink eye in one eye. It's painful and leaky (tmi). I've been cleaning it every 15 minutes. Got some Optrex eye drops which don't seem to be doing anything. If anything it's gotten worse throughout the day. I'm being induced tomorrow morning due to baby not growing. Currently 39w4d. I will let the ward know in the morning as it is contagious and I don't want to pass it onto anyone let alone my baby, but is there anything else I can do in the meantime for the conjunctivitis? I don't know what to do in this situation!

As you've used the drops you're no longer contagious.

Good luck for your induction!

It's a mix of watery and sticky. It's kind of thick and gloopy. I clean it out and a few minutes later it comes back. Yes I'm using Optrex infected eye drops

You won't be infectious by tomorrow- make sure you bathe it regularly- hope all goes well with the birth x
