Numb vagina

Someone please help I’m 5 months postpartum with a forceps and Episiotomy and my vagina is completely numb I have also developed a badder prolapse the inside of my vagina is all numb I can not feel sex atall is this my life forever now

Oh poor you.. sounds like your labour and birth experience was traumatic. I’m no expert other than being a woman and it’s very upsetting when any part of your body is not working as it should. You have to go to your GP, and see a gynaecologist.. there must be something they can do, but if you don’t go and don’t tell them, they can’t help..

Sorry op this happened to me when I had my son 26 years ago, never had any feeling in the vagina since. I just go with the motions so dh doesn't know but sex is such a chore now because I can't feel anything.
As for the bladder thing just pretend you were squirting if you leak during sex, he won't mind.

So sorry you’re dealing with this @Tootiredorcare please do see your GP and don’t let them dismiss you. Too often women’s health issue’s especially such as this go ignored. It’s your life but the advice from @changingusernames has made me sad - you deserve more than masking your issues and making up things to keep your DH happy. We should be past that in 2023!
