is sex a bit like a sweep can take 24-36 hours to get things moving or is it more of an instant thing

Well, I've seen people post on here that doing the deep "popped" their waters so things got going more or less at once. But otherwise, I guess the prostins in the semen might take a while to take effect.

it won;t work instantly. the semen helps to ripen the cervix , which takes a little while. go for it !

I thoguht you had to 'do it' more than once.
I read on anotehr forum somewhere that to get the right amonut of spunk for an induction it takes 57 lots of spunk

I ate a lot more than 7 pineapples in my desperation, so many that I now cant even LOOK at a pineapple without feeling ill. It wasnt until I had ds that the midwife told me its the core of the pineapple that has greatest, if any that is, affect!

Is that possible, esp when 9mths pregnant?! I think even dp would balk at the thought of it.

They have loads more prostaglandins than semen- you need to prick open the capsule and erm squirt (I guess)
