Induction experiences after PROM

Hi
My waters broke at 34 weeks. Currently baby is alright and staying put. I have induction booked for 37 weeks with monitoring in-between.
Not sure I'll make it to 37 weeks with how everything feels down below, but anyway.

What were your induction experiences like with PROM? How long did it take from start to finish? My logic is that as cervix is already partially open and waters have gone, maybe it won't take as long? They said they wouldn't give the pessary the usual 30 hours to work and would give me less time before starting the drip.

Had the drip in first labour so prepared for how painful that is if I need it but hoping I won't seeing as I've been contracting on and off for a week.
