Possible TMI but I am 6 weeks post partum and I had a 2nd degree tear. My stitches have been checked each midwife appointment and they always told me they look good / can barely see them because they’re healing well.
This morning I did a no.2 and had to strain a bit (sorry tmi!) but after there was bleeding coming from that area (ie not the behind). There was also a tiny piece of what looked like flesh, really tiny piece nothing that concerned me but is weird. Has anyone had this? I’m worried my stitches have reopened somehow. I thought could be period but weird to have coincided with the no.2?
I have my 6 week check first thing tomorrow so I’ll ask there but just looking for comfort in the meantime I guess
