Period so soon after C Section Birth?

Hi there I'm having a light flow, brown colour, not at all red but doesn't seem like discharge, no smell. Day before I had a period type dull ache and though, oohh period pain then thought nothing more of it.

I had cS 8 weeks ago. For some reason I thought it would be much longer before my cycle settled. Am breastfeeding every 2 hours on average.

The post birth bleed/discharge finished long ago so it's definately no that and has a different feel to it.

Also rather irritated down there. Guess it's thrush? Am bathing "down there' in camomile dilution.

Anyone got any wisdom?

Breastfeeding often delays your periods, but not always, so does sound like first period I'm afraid.

Could be a restart of your post partum bleed - if you have been doing a lot. Otherwise sounds like it could be your periods sorry. You'll only really know in about four weeks when it happens again.
