Being induced today at 39+2 due to small baby dropping on growth chart.. starting with Dialapan Rods.

First baby and I am so so nervous.

Would appreciate a handhold and some words of encouragement ladies, I really didn't want an induction :(

I was induced and found it straight forward and no where near as bad as I expected :) just think soon you’ll have your baby in your arms!

How exciting op! Baby won't be long

I had the most amazing induction with my first, the experience was lovely. I'd do it again in a heartbeat (in fact I'm 30 weeks with no.2 and praying for the same again!). I had the pessary at 8pm, the midwife actually laughed and said 'no chance of this baby coming anytime soon' after examining me. My waters broke at 2am and DS arrived at 6am.

They're not all bad Smile good luck!

Handhold OP 🤍just focus on there being a beautiful little one at the end of it, you can do this!

Don't worry this is the exciting bit. I never had the rods but Iv had 2 inductions due to growth restriction at 37 weeks and one I had 2 hour active labour and the other a 1 hour active labour. Once my waters were broken they shot out lol.
