When I had my son I went into labour 3 days before my planned c section.
On the first night of labour I noticed I couldn't pass any urine, the midwife gave me a big hug of water to drink and told me I just wasn't drinking enough, I drank the whole jug and couldn't wee at all. This went on for the whole 3 days of labour, I begged and begged for a catheter and was only given 2 "in and out" catheters. So I was basically only allowed to have one wee on the 2nd day and one wee on the 3rd day😞 a lot of urine came out when they used the catheter
On the night before my section I started to bleed and pass clots that were apple sized
I begged for my c section on the second and third night but was told I had to wait for my planned section on the Monday as they didn't do sections at the weekend ?
Anyway, I really want to know why this bleeding, clots and unable to wee happened, it bothers me a lot, I'm pregnant again so it's playing on my mind a lot
