Sex after childbirth

Hi, I had my beautiful DD 6 weeks ago now.
I was ready quite early on for getting back in to the groove, but I’ve notice more recently I’m struggling to cum/climax during intercourse.
I had a tear from my urethra to my clitoris and stitches after, there was a stitch on my clitoris.
I can only cum with clitoral stimulation, but even this seems to be either not working or taking an age, I’m worried the stitch on my clit could’ve potentially damage something.
is this a possibility? Is there anyone that can point me in the right direction for advice on this. Thanks

i didn’t have any problems after my first but with the second it took about 3 months for normal service to resume

@Swinglower this is my second, I was perfectly fine after my first too even with having an episiotomy and a longer recovery

Hopefully you just need a little more time to recover then can get back in the saddle
