Not sure if this is the correct topic to post this under? But curious to know, how long did you wait after birth before having sex? I had a C-section 2 weeks ago and I’ve made a pretty fast recovery, I feel amazing! I feel completely back to myself apart from still having vaginal bleeding. Does the 6 week wait still apply to those who’ve had a section? Ive seen people saying there is a dinner sized plate wound inside us and it’s extremely dangerous to have sex after a section. Obviously if this is the case I wouldn’t do anything to risk infection. However, would a condom protect anything? Before anything, I’ll wait until the bleeding 100% stops but if that’s within the next few weeks then is it safe to do it? I’m rambling now but all I’m asking is, do I wait the full 6 weeks or is it okay to do it once the bleeding stops? My sex drive seems to be sky high since having my LO but of course I’m holding out until it’s safe to do so ahhh
