Nipple stimulation and sudden back pain

Hey everyone I am 40+4 today and a bit fed up! I could t sleep last night so decided to give the nipple stimulation a go. Well, out of nowhere i suddenly had the strongest pain in the right side of my back that slightly wrapped to the front. I got out of bed and was in a cold sweat with how painful it was I then had to go to the toilet to be sick. I don’t know if I was sick due to the shock of how sore it was or just being pregnant. Unfortunately I also weed myself uncontrollably while being sick but I don’t know if that was waters or not? It was clear but other than that I’m not sure. I was also shivering loads.

Anyway this pain eased off and the shivers so I lay down and went back to sleep. I never had another single twinge after that, have any of you ladies had one big pain like that? Is this a sign in going in to Labour? I was hoping it was starting lastnight but woken up to nothing.

P.S. this is my second but I was induced with the first so I don’t have experience of spontaneous labour.

I'm in the same boat! Induced with 1st and in now 39+4 and so fed up. I was using my pump to stimulate and was having twinges and I've got a constant ache in my back but nothing else!! I've also lost my plug so I'm really hoping in not far off!

With my last two I was overdue and they broke my waters. Without any other help I did nipple stimulation and in both cases it triggered contractions and I gave birth not long after. I couldn’t believe how effective it was. What you experienced was probably a flood of oxytocin?
