Period after birth

Just looking for some advice. Had my third baby almost 13 weeks ago. Bled for around 2 weeks after. Normal birth, not breastfeeding. My periods still Havnt returned. I'm wondering when the rest of you ladies got your period back? I know I'm not pregnant so that can be ruled out

Still haven't. "Baby" is 17 months old. Still breastfeeding (mostly to sleep). I do have PCOS though, so it's not unheard of.

@Jade57 baby no1 it was about 7/8 weeks
Baby no2 was about 12/13 weeks

Didn't breastfeed either
2nd delivery was a straightforward too

It can vary massively I'm afraid!

@febbabies2023 at what stage would you say it's worth a chat with the doctor? This is my third baby and I can't remember when my period returned with the last 2 but I know it wasn't this long

For me it was 12 weeks to the day, didn’t breastfeed either.

EBF both of mine, with both mine was back before the 6 week check - was most annoyed and it was definitely my period and not the bleeding as I had stopped, week later......

@Jade57 I would probably give it a couple more weeks and if no sign then I'd speak to GP. I'm sure it's nothing to worry about though

Ebf then only at night from 1yo - period didnt return until 23mo...
