Hello

I am due our third baby in November but for some reason I am terrified this time ..

Do third babies usually come earlier and labour faster than 1st & 2nd babies…

Any third birth stories that you would mind sharing?

I am the same. How did you get on please

Hello

So it all went smoothly, my waters broke at 6:15pm first major contraction at 12:30am and baby was here just after 2:30am. Very ‘normal’ text book quick birth.

I worried myself to death for months beforehand though so I know exactly how you feel.
once it all started to kick off I just kept talking to myself telling myself everything was going to be fine.

Good luck, I’m sure everything will be just fine 🙂

My third birth was brilliant. I had no pain relief, not even gas and air. He was born at lunchtime and I had fish and chips just after the birth. I was home in time for tea.

MUCH easier than the first two, even though he was quite a bit bigger.
He was the only one that I felt that rush of love with right away, I think I went into shock from the pain of the first two.

That’s amazing! I’m due in 9 days and getting less nervous after speaking to you ladies x

I’m sure I felt the way I did because I had other children. I was so worried for them if anything happened to me, not actually worried for myself if that makes sense lol

you’ll be perfectly fine, I’m sure the anticipation is worse then your body just takes over and knows what it should be doing!

I'm 35. I have 2 children boy 15 girl 6. We want to try for another baby. This baby would have a different father than my other two.

I am really needle phobic. Do not like being messed with. My other two I had at home. Water births both with 5 ish hours of painful labour.

I feel more nervous than ever this time im not even pregnant yet. My sisters going through a breach birth now and they are pushing for a section birth. Hers and my worst nightmares. Adding to my fears watching her go through this.

Is it harder at 35 ? 6 years later from your last. Would i still be allowed a hands off home birth.
My family and I really want to do this my daughter would love a brother or sister. I really want to get over these fears. Any advice appreciated

So I was 32 when I had our third.
I was allowed whatever birth I chose as my pregnancy was low risk- so I’m sure it depends more on that then your age!

good luck 🙂
