Is labour soon? 🤞🤞

I'm 38+4 and this weekend have had lots of mucus discharge, I assume it's the mucus plug but it's come out in lots of medium sized bits since Friday morning. Today I have been miserable with menstrual cramp type pains and backache constantly but irregularly if that makes sense. I also feel a bit of anal pressure like when I go to the toilet to do a pee. No waters broken yet I don't think.

I'm hopeful but downtrodden by the amount of Braxton Hicks I've experienced since around week 32.

Any similar experiences/insight?

Sounds like labour is imminent! Good luck. Have your bag packed, your transport ready, and try to get some rest tonight if you can. Oh and if you’re going to bed but a towel (or 7) under your sheet in case the waters break. Very exciting! Good luck!

Turns out it was labour. Baby born 7 hours later!
