Sweep tomorrow !!

Hi, having a sweep tomorrow - am 41 weeks and am terrified it will start me off !! Stupid I know - baby gotta come out sometime but think am just worried about not knowing what to do when I actually do go into labour !!! Sorry to sound daft - 1st babbie and all x x

Hi i have never had a sweep but wanted to wish you luck anyway.
Try having an orgasm or sex before tomorrow ,you may not need the sweep then
You will be fine when labour starts,just go with the flow.

Good luck, it will be fine don't worry. Your body does everything for you, just focus on yourself and your baby and try to relax and listen to your midwife, and remember you can always have plenty of drugs!!

Hi razzle, I've had loads of sweeps! All my babies were late. It will only start labour if you're ready anyway.

All you need to do when you go into labour, is remember that you can do it, squillions of women have done it, and it will all be over soon and you will meet your lovely baby!
