TMI, vaginal sounds 4 weeks postpartum

Sorry for the TMI, I'm 4 weeks postpartum and feeling totally uncomfortable with my lady bits. With it being summer I'm wearing dresses/shorts etc but when I walk my vagina is making a squelching noise! It sounds as if it's very lubricated (even though it's not!) and sloshy. If I can hear this, I dread to think if others can! Will this eventually go or is this my new norm? This is my second DC, normal vaginal delivery.

I tore quite bad and half my labia minor on one side is missing so my opening is no longer "closed" - I wonder if this could be the case?

Im only 26 and can't imagine living the rest of my life with a loud squelching vagina!! It's SO loud 😭

Yes I did have this (I had stitches that came out before they were meant to).

It did return to normal, I can’t remember the exact time scales, it might have been a couple of months.

Have they referred you to gynaecology for a follow up? Depending on how bad it is you might benefit from a surgical repair. Try to get referred to gynae anyway because it might be a long waiting list.

@Hazelnuttella Thanks so much for your response! Was it the noises that stopped after a couple of months?

I am a patient of the aftercare clinic for postpartum women who have received stitches, but have just been told the above is all normal but I never had this with my first! X
