bad back and peroid type pains

i am 39 weeks tomorrow and all yesterday and so far to day i have had back ache and peroid type pains and one else had this at this stage

i did for a few weeks before ds was born. He was born at 38 weeks. In my eyes a good sign that everything is getting 'ready'

How often are u getting the period type pains??

its more like a on going peroid pain has been for 3 days now back pain on and off
baby moving round like mad so at least one of us is happy

It sounds a bit like the beginning of labour to me - good luck if it is!

thank u hopefully the baby thinks it is aswell and hurrys up and comes soon so it has time to by my mothers day prezzie

for some people this is all they have in the way of labour pains - excruciating back ache! Happened to a friend of mine - it was only when she was getting excruciating back pains at 3 minute intervals that the penny dropped!
