Not a worry so much, just curious to see if others have has this experience... I'm 39+2 and until today, have been nesting like a mad woman (folding/ organising clothes, general tidying). All of a sudden, I just couldn't be bothered!! Can anyone relate?

I mean, logically it probably means you're knackered and not far off giving birth?

Wenfy · 16/06/2023 13:34

I didn’t get my nesting instinct until after my babies were born so by itself it probably doesn’t mean anything

Louoby · 16/06/2023 13:41

All three pregnancies I never even got the "beating instinct" I just couldn't be bothered, lacking energy. However, it kicked in once babies were born. I was irritated by mess and wanted to organise 😂

My child is 18 months and I’m 20 weeks pregnant and have yet to experience any kind of nesting !! I’m too fucked to be nesting lol ! In ur case u may just have tired urself out and ur body wants u to relax before baby is here

Sugarfree23 · 16/06/2023 13:45

I think your not far off labour, time to conserve energy - good luck

Thanks all, yeah I have a three year old so it's probably tiredness, not reading too much into it - just curious as I nested non stop until go time on our first.

Also @Louoby 'beating instinct' has got to be the best autocorrect I've read all day 😂😂

I agree with others, I think your body is telling you to rest.

So apparently it means nothing other than tiredness (laziness?!)...Still pregnant at 40+1.
