VBAC for 4th birth after 2 Csections

1st birth was a vaginal but was assisted (forceps and episiotomy) as we both showed signs of sepsis after prolonged rupture of membranes.

Next 2 births were both emergency csections, labour did start naturally for both after weeks of PPROM but we had infection markers showing so ended in the emergency sections to prevent sepsis.

I felt like I did labour well with all 3 until I needed intervention.

I'd really like to try for VBAC. Consultant believes, after the 3rd baby, to know why PPROM and infections kept happening and there's a good chance that will be avoided this time around.

Last section was 3.5 years ago.

Of course I'll run this all by my Consultant too but wondered if anyone here could talk to me about their experiences? Or what they think of my chances are of a successful VBAC?

Your experience sounds unusual, so I think you really need to talk to your consultant.

Certainly people do have vbac after 2 caesarians. I supposa it depends if they are able to deal with the infection risk.
