Wrexham or Telford

Not sure where to give birth? It's either Wrexham or Telford. What are your experiences?

Where did you end up?

I had my LO in anlocal welsh hospital as I refused to go to Telford. The few times I interacted with them the 2 midwives and the STR I will never forget her name were disgustingly rude and down right harrassing and hounding me to have the baby there and to induce me. Totally against my wishes. In the end I ignored their calls (Voice messages with houbding and very unprofessional) had a healthy Baby locally by local midwives.

Ended up going to Telford as LO temp was 36.4 isntead of 36.5 LO was fine. But the experience postnatal was awful. The same Dr saw me (inonly saw her 8 days before) and was rude and disrespectful and the midwives were pushing me to gove formula and woukdnt help suppoet with nursing. In the end I self discharged as my Baby was fine and so was I. But they kept trying to make me stay. After 2nd night approached it made the Midwives give me the papers to self discharged. I never want to go to Telford again but I have no experience with Wrexham. I am currently pregnant again and hoping for a local birth again. I will refuse any communication from Telford. I would rather free labour at home then go there again.
