3 week after c section

some advice please. Had a c-section just over 3 weeks ago. It was healing beautifully, but over the last few days there has been some wetness around the scar. I have made an appointment to see the doctor to get it checked out to make sure its not infected and healing ok, and now wonder if I'm over reacting.
Anyone had this or can tell me if its normal, or am I doing the right thing going to the Doctor's. I don't really want to waste his time unnecessarily.

Always get it checked. Does the wetness smell at all?

I had a scar infection, but mine was obviously opening up in the middle and weeping. If it is nothing you've only wasted 10 mins of the Drs time, but put your mind at rest. Worth it imo.

I would go and get this checked too. I am 3 and a bit weeks post section and my scar is not doing this (and didn't last time). Hope everything is ok (hi Bibi!! )

Appointment is for later on this afternoon so will see what he says. It doesn't smell, its just wet sometimes, but you're right in that I should get it checked out. Thanks for the replies.

Sorry, should have said my second c-section scar healed much better thant he first, so no weeping or wetness afterwards. I hope the Dr says it's nothing though. Let us know.

Doctor says no infection. It hasn't healed totally yet, hence the wetness I sometimes feel, and he said I am trying to do too much and need to rest up more! So told DH that he will have to carry on doing housework etc while I put my feet up! .
