C section complications

attached photo.

This is my result from my internal and external scan done recently after a c section 15 weeks ago. I have been bleeding since. Gynaecologist has been vague on what they think it is. Said I have fluid around or near my c section scar. I have to have an mri to check everything over and have surgery. Apparently they are unsure on why I am still bleeding.

Has anyone got any medical experience or even experience of what this all might mean? Just super worried and just been left to wait for Mri.

Thank you xxx

Yes they can see what looks like a collection of fluid near your scar, which can be a source of bleeding depending on what it is caused by. The 'cannot exclude 'RPOC' means they cannot rule out you having any retained products of conception- potentially remnants of placenta etc. The MRI is much more of an in depth image and will show the gynae team exactly what is going on to form a treatment plan. Sorry you are going through this, not what you need when you have a 15 week old baby. Take care x
