hey, am 40+6 and main waters went at 7am. if I go into labour spontaneously will the hospital still let me use the pool?

was really hoping for water birth, obviously I understand induction changes everything but am having sporadic cxs although they are very short.

Think may depend how long between waters breaking and going into labour. My waters broke Sunday morning, and I went into labour on Tuesday afternoon, and they wouldn't let me use the pool because of the risk of infection

get your ctx going.. birth ball, nipple stim, preferably with a breast pump, raspberry leaf tea, visualisation...

are you sure it was your main waters? did you have a big gush? very exciting

was a big gush. was letting DH sleep although had ctx from 3am til 6am 10 mins apart. felt something going on and started going 'oh oh oh' and dashed to bathroom with sheet between my legs and had to climb in bath with water running down my legs! poor DH had no idea what was going on!

ctx encouragement it is then!
