I recently found out I was 5wks with baby 4(4th section) and assumed it was too risky my anxiety got the better of me and terminated at 5wks 2 days could kick myself I took the first appointment and didnt give myself chance to think it through made the decsion way too quickly as I now realise a 4th was my ambition in life i love babies/children and thrive bringing them up...I'll never live with the choice I made it gives me sleepless nights and tearful days already feel like a monster so please no judgement we are all human but I'm now thinking I should try again and bring baby4 into our lives would love to hear you're experiences x

I've had 4 c sections, but on my last one. They said that my uterus was so thin, they could see the baby through it and I was lucky it hadn't ruptured.
So I would err on the side of caution.

I know this is an old thread, but I just found it. I had four sections 1st emergency, 2nd after a failed trial labour and the other two planned. Unsurprisingly I had a lot of scar tissue but not quite as bad as the surgeon thought. My uterus however did not want to shrink down after the last one and it took a bit of work to get it to do so, they were quite concerned at the time. On the plus side they did cut out my old lumpy scar and give me a 1cm tummy tuck. Surgeon did insist that I was sterilised on the table at the same time as the section and said that any more pregnancies would be incredibly dangerous, he removed my fallopian tubes to be on the safe side as I was incredibly fertile. No one can predict how these things go so I would be careful. Be kind to yourself, sometimes we have to make very difficult decisions. No judgement here.

I just had my 3rd csection a few months ago. I was high risk and had complete previa and placenta accreta, which is when the placenta attaches to the scar tissue from your previous csections (obviously the more csections you have the more scar tissue there is). My last csection was awful, I lost a lot of blood and had many issues. I spent 2 weeks in hospital (baby was fine despite being an emergency at 36 wks). I didn't know these issues were even possible when we went for baby no 3, I wish I had known just how risky and stressful it could be.

Currently pregnant with my 4th and have had 3 previous c sections.

During my last c-section, the surgeon told me my uterus was thin and offered to sterilise - I declined.

I went back 6 months later and was refused sterilisation- they stated there was no noted concerns.

Shitting a brick now!!
