I am pregnant with my second one and I have gave birth to my first one at the RVI and I have good experience there but after care was quite poor (especially that I'm deaf and they didn't exactly taken account of which ended up me being awake most of the 4 days stay to keep eye on my baby but this was during 2020 so I don't know if it is to do with being precautious to COVID.

I would like to make sure I am at the good hospital in case something has bad happened during the labour.

Would love to hear other people's experiences!

I had both of mine at cramlington! Private room was a bonus and the chairs turn into beds for your partner staying overnight!

Number 2 I was in and out within 6 hours but was still great care!

I’m considering Cramlington for Feb, is it a definite that you get a private room. Im having a C-section and concerned about aftercare at the rvi without my partner.

All maternity rooms at Cramlington are private rooms.
