LMP or dating scan, which due date to go by?

Hi All,

Right so I want some advice, currently pregnant with my third baby (a girl) and my LMP was around 13 July 2022 so EDD was 19th April 2023 however the sonographer who did my dating scan changed my EDD to the 25th April 2023 so naturally I was a little confused. But me and hubby have a feeling the baby will come early than my induction date. I'm due to be induced on the 11th April which by their scan I will be around 38 weeks, it's due to me having gestational diabetes but I have a feeling it will be brought forward by a week by the diabetes obstetricians. Has anyone experienced and had their baby around their LMP due date rather than the dating scan due date? If it did differ.

Thanks for reading

Go by the sonogram sate as it's the official date the hospital will work from.

My date was changed from LMP to EDD as there was a difference of 8 days, she came one day early so the EDD was more accurate.

LMP is only a guide, you can ovulate earlier or later than the 'official' ovulation date.
