Period pants postpartum?

Does any one have experience of this?
I found pads very uncomfortable after I had my son and they also moved around a lot. Was thinking period pants might be easier.

I don't think they would hold enough for the first few days. It's a different kind of blood and heavier. You would be fine to switch after that though.

Some women use tena pants. No experience myself but something to consider

I bought some primark ones. Which were great for a few weeks after birth. I couldn’t have used them any sooner though

I used tescos own free spirit disposable pants! They were brilliant! £8.00 for a packet of 12 but worth it imo and so comfortable. Today was the first time since having my baby girl 4 weeks ago where I've been able to wear my own underwear with just a normal pad! victory dance 🤣

Frida Mom Witch Hazel Perineal Cooling Pad Liners, White, 24 pad liners amzn.eu/d/hNM9Udk

This stuff was a game changer. Honestly the cooling soothing feeling of one over the pads was very welcome. They do make a wide range of post partum stuff but it is pricey. If you're just going to get one thing this would be my choice.
