Desperately need some advice! I'm 7+ week's post C-section and have been having ongoing swelling & pain in my tummy (still look about 5 months' pregnant). Pain has gradually subsided with time, but tends to flare up if I go for a walk (I've been very slowly extending my walks and tolerating them - but any even slight increase in activity and it feels like my internal incisions swell up, pulling sensations, and quite a bit of pain in the days that follow).
All the other c-sectioners I know seem to be up and about and a lot more active than me. I've already been referred for a transvaginal scan (all fine) and awaiting an abdominal scan as have been told by various people (midwife, friends, physio) that this is 'not normal'. My 8-week GP check up is end of this week. I'm beginning to get really worried that the pain and immobility is here to stay, and it's starting to really impact my mental health - being stuck in the house, in pain, worrying about whether there is some kind of long-term damage (e.g. adhesions) is seriously messing with my head.
I'd really appreciate hearing from any people who have had similar experiences and what the outcome was (positive or otherwise)? And any advice more generally very welcome x
