Pregnancy: Baby dropping (lightning)

How did you know when you were pregnant, that your baby had dropped lower into your pelvic region ready for birth. Was it later in your third trimester or was it just before you gave birth?

What did it feel like?

I don't want to think I'm imagining things but this is my third DD and I think I felt the tightness of baby's head (whilst sitting down on a chair) it's hard to explain but I think that baby is going to be making an arrival earlier than even my induction date which is the 11th April my EDD is 25th April.

I can't say I was certain this ever happened, but I was getting a lot of pressure low down/cervix from about 6 weeks before birth (second baby).

I could breathe easier under my ribs. Also had a day of cramps when it happened. Oh and my bump looked different and lower, noticeably so to other people aswell..

With 3rd baby head can go in and out till actual labour. But closer DD ofcourse baby is very low.

I made it to my section date at 39+4 and I don’t think I ever had this. Everyone, even earlier on in their pregnancy, would tell me how they could feel babies head so far down and I just didn’t ever get it at all. I think he must have never gone right down there and knew to wait 🙈
