My best friend was induced at 7.30am, please send pushing vibes, she's having a whopper!

She was due on the 30th Jan, her dd (18m old) was 10lb 4 and she's had several growth scans and this one is looking like a 12lber. She had a v rough time with dd, ventouse and was minutes from an emergency cs, and that was only 3d late (well labour started on edd)

im so excited for her, and so worried at the same time. she sounded good last night, and im sure that she'll be fine, but could do with mn pushing vibes all the same!

Fingers crossed for a straightforward delivery! (Hope they are wrong about weight, they often are.)

hi lissielou - my dd1 was 10lb4 and was told dd2 would be at least 12lb, she was 11lb1 but very long and I had an easier time becuase my body apparently knew what it was doing a little better!! will keep my fingers crossed and its a smooth easy birth with lovely chubby compliant baby

lissielou sorry i didn't with dd1 - she was an induction but I did with dd2 who waited 5extra days as apparently being over 11lbs wasn't enough lol

am hoping she's having an easy time of it

me too, starting to worry. she had a pessary this morning and they were going to break her waters this evening...

well done her, my induction went on for 3 days although I didn't want to mention that earlier
