Lumps on c section incision

Hi everyone! I woke up this morning, 12 days post c section, to find a few hard lumps had formed on my c section incision overnight. They’re not painful but obviously I’m slightly concerned. Does anyone have experience with this? Should I call my GP or will it resolve on its own?

Please contact your GP- although different, I had two small issues with my c section scar at different times and felt a bit silly contacting the GP but they were very happy to check it. Once I had a course of antibiotics the other time was fine so worth getting checked. Hope you get it sorted soon.

Obviously contact GP if concerned but, if they’re not painful, then it’s very common and likely to be just scar tissue. It will break down by itself overtime, or once everything feels comfy enough, you can gently massage them to help them go a bit more quickly.

Thank you both for the advice!
