C-section and Hysterectomy recovery

Has anyone had a c-section and a hysterectomy at the same time? If so how long was you in hospital for and what was your recovery like?

I was in for 6 days. It was 6-7 weeks before I felt ok.

Do not lift anything heavy, not even baby in the car seat. I wasn't to lift anything at all, they said someone should pass my baby to me which I did for the first week in hospital but as soon as I was home, I lifted her anyway.
